May I ask what brand torque arm you were using? Just curious because I have a S+W torque arm set up on my stocker project and have heard issues with the actual mount to the rear housing which they apparently redesigned to a stronger one. I had mine beefed up with steel plate between the upper and lower tubes.

BMR Fabrication. I'm not blaming the torque arm, I'm attributing it to the combination of the way the torque arm mount was set up on the 9" housing, and the design of the torque arm. The combo made it flex in the "middle", where the adjuster is, and the bending side-to-side finally took out the adjuster.
