The Rocky Mountain Superchargers were in Wichita for the "Summer Nationals" at Kansas International Dragway. Booming runs by the Lethal Injection Funny Car and Mike Wheeler's Rapture altered thrilled the crowd in the first round until . . . . the skies opened up. The deluge closed down the rest of the racing, but improvements at the venue, friendly staff, and big crowds make it a stop that will be welcome on the schedule in future.
Mike Wheeler was the long distance guy, coming from deep in the Heart of Texas for the event.
